Front Gate Update

We’ve received reports of the gate keypad not always registering numbers when pressed. Dygert Gates came out to investigate the issue.

Here is their feedback:

• The exit gate operators were reset. A switch inside the system had been turned on, which caused an alarm to sound before the gate would move. This has been corrected.
• The keypad itself is wearing out. Dygert Gates will provide a quote for replacement.
• In the meantime, pressing the keys firmly should allow the code to register. Light presses may not always be picked up.
• A new keypad will have improved sensitivity but may still require firm key presses.
